David Glenn came to Corsica in 1856. He was born in 1826 at Clover Hill, two miles from Dunquin, County Tyrone, in Ireland,
and came to this country at an early age. His parents were William Glenn and Mary Ralston. David was one of nine children, all boys. He died March 16, 1900, of pneumonia, and was buried in Pisgah Cemetery in
Corsica. David Glenn married Eleanor Summerville on April 19, 1854. They were the parents of five children, William B., Edward P., Joseph A., Mary R. (wife of J. C. Geist), and Lizzie S., (wife of D. J. Glenn).
Eleanor was bom in 1824, the daughter of William and Rebekah Summerville. She died November 24, 1894, and is buried beside David in Pisgah Cemetery.
